How to Use Preparedness Modules

These Seizure Preparedness Modules are designed to link useful information with tips on important skills and resources you may need in managing seizures. Some information may be new to those recently introduced to seizures. However, people who have lived with epilepsy for a while may feel that it is pretty basic. Regardless of where you are starting from, we hope you can use these sections to turn information into action and be prepared.

First, visit My Resource Kit at the top of each page where you will find some preparedness tools to help you manage your epilepsy and make using this section easier.

  • Questions to Ask My Health Care Team
  • My To Do List
  • My Health Care Team
  • Tips for Seizure Observation
  • Instructions for Using Seizure Calendars
  • My Monthly Seizure Calendar
  • My Seizure Event Diary
  • My Medicine Schedule
  • My Seizure Plan
  • My Camp Medical Supplement Form
  • My Camp Checklist
  • My Safety Plan (being developed)

Next, work through the Preparedness Modules - you'll find tips to remember at the bottom of many pages, links to more content, or actions to take. By the time you get to Section 9, you'll be ready to develop your own preparedness plan. Make sure you stop back regularly as we add more preparedness tools!
