This premiere event is held every two years to bring together decision-makers in the field of epilepsy treatment, therapeutic innovation, and product development. This exciting meeting provides a forum for evaluating new therapies in development, exploring future advancements, and encouraging collaborations and partnerships.

FEATURING the Epilepsy Foundation's Annual Shark Tank Competition and presentation of the 2024 Lifetime Accelerator Award recipient.

  • 2024 Shark Tank Competition - Do you have an innovative idea to help people with epilepsy and seizures?  Throw it to the sharks!  Submissions are no longer being accepted for 2024.
  • 2024 Epilepsy Foundation Lifetime Accelerator Award – This award was established in 2012 to honor physicians, scientists, industry leaders, and others who have demonstrated a lifelong commitment to brining new therapies to people living with epilepsy. Recipients are chosen by an independent committee of global thought leaders and clinical investigators in epilepsy and seizure therapy discovery and development.  Submissions are no longer being accepted for 2024.
  • Travel Grants – The Epilepsy Foundation (EF), the Epilepsy Study Consortium, Inc, (ESCI) and the Pediatric Epilepsy Research Foundation® (PERF®) have pooled their funds to provide travel grants to the conference for: Epilepsy Fellow / Junior Faculty and Pediatric Epilepsy Fellows.  Applications are due by June 28, 2024.  See GUIDELINES to apply.

Speakers and attendees may include:

  • Emerging biotech and medical technology companies
  • Pharmaceutical and device companies
  • Government representatives (NIH, CDC), and
  • Researchers and innovators at the cutting-edge of epilepsy and CNS treatment advances

Example topics may include:

Pipeline talks - submissions due by July 22

To submit your request for a product update during the Epilepsy Foundation 2024 Pipeline Conference, please complete this FORM by July 22.

Note that due to the volume of requests anticipated this year we will accept proposals for either a 1) 10-minute presentation, 2) a category specific panel accompanied by a poster, or 3) poster only, all subject to availability.  You will be notified of the format type by August 12.
